Outside the Kawakawa Cup event, when Thespis vanquished Teele by a couple of lengths, the racing at the meeting was interesting, good finishes prevailing. Speculation was fairly •brisk, and the club was only £85 behind last year's figures, the totals being £2896 against £2811, a decrease of £85. Snow Prince and Thespis each won two races.
