PETER PAN.
Peter Pan patrons had a specially bright opening on Saturday, when the visiting Wellington cricketers were entertained by the management. Mr. Merv. Bree and his Peter Pan Band w'ere in lively spirits and dispensed a splendid programme of dance tunes. With its shaded lights the cabaret looked most attractive, and the scene was added to by the bowls of summer flowers which were placed on the tables. Among those present were: Mrs. Prank Ansell, wearing blue and white gingham gown; Mrs. Edgar Bartleet, electric blue satin beaute; Mrs. Neville, floral faille; Miss Kathleen O'Brien, Wellington, black ring velvet; Miss June Frater, slimfitting frock of silver lame; Miss Molly Bailey, black r georgette and coffeecoloured lace; Miss Betty Keenan, coral pink taffeta; Miss Betty Kelly, white broderic anglaise; Miss Redpath, parma violet satin; Miss Barbara Leeton, gold and cyclamen lame; Miss ■ Lorna Reyburn, mist grey and orchid georgette; Miss Shirley Prater, nymph green floral dimity; Miss Peg Robertson, green and white checked gingham; Miss Margaret O'Connor, black lace gown; Miss Phyllis Eady, cameo pink fische net; Miss. Maijorie' Suter, Lido blue georgette; Miss Joan Robertson, lemon organdie; Miss Pooley, honey-coloured organdie; Miss McKenzie, black sequinned georgette; Miss Nancy Cotter, floral taffeta; Miss Molly Millington, black Milan lace.
