SYDNEY WOOL PRICES. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day, Trices current on the Sydney wool market this week have been:—Super nnc Merino fleece, best, to 24% d; gi'easy Merino, best, 15d to 17d; good. 13d to 14d; average, lid to 12d; i'sht seed burry skirts, good, ll%d to average, lOd to 10% d; lambs, light seed, best, to 12% d; good. 8d to 9d; average, 4d to 6d, greasy comeback floece, fine, to 13/zd. _ The average price of wool sold tins week was £11 7/6 per bale, equivalent to 9d per lb. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received 12:30 p.m.) LONDON, January 19. At the wool sales 8712 bales were offered, including 1528 New Zealand. About 590 were sold. Buying for Home and Continental interests was well sustained with a firm tone and the bulk of the offerings were cleared.' New Zealand greasy crossbred Ngatapa, top price lOd, average 8 Ad. Shippers prices tor growers' lots, 2/9%, both bagged and bulk, equivalent to 2/2% and 2/PA at com, try stations. Flour: £9 5/. Excellent inquiry from China. Bran: ±4 10/. Pollara. £5. Potatoes: Tasmaman, £6; local, to £4 10/; Victorian, £5. Onions: Victor.an Globes. £5 10/ to £6. Maize: Yellow, 5/7; white, to 5/6. > Adelaide prices are:—Wheat: Growers lots, 2/8% to 2/9. Flour: Bakery iots, £7 12/6. Bran: £5. Pollard; £o 10/. Oats: 1/5 to 1/6. MELBOURNE, this day. Wheat, 2/9 to 2/9% per bushel; flour, £7 12/6 per ton; bran, £4 10/; pollard, £5; oats. 1/9 to 1/10 per bushel; barley, English, 2'9 to 2/10; maize, 5/. Onions are easier at £3 to £3 10/ per ton. Silver is quoted at 16 15-16 d per ounce for spot delivery, and 17d for forward. WHEAT CARGOES, ETC. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 19. For wheat cargoes sellers' offers are mostly 3d down. Parcels also are 3d down Futures, London, February-April, 20/10% per quarter; Liverpool, March, 4/10 per cental; May, 4/10%; July, 4/11%. Spot trade is quiet. Australian, ex ship, 26/ to 27/3. Flour is slow. Australian, ex store, 20/6. Oats are steadily held. Peas and beans are slow.
LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, January 20. P and O. deferred stock is quoted at 16/7%, and Mount Lyells at 17/4%. EXPORT OF PIGS.
