MODEL YACHTING.

The Orakei Basin -Model Yacht Club will continue its usual weekly races on the basin to-morrow afternoon, lhe first race "'ill be the filial of the race started last week. This- commences at 2 p.m., and the "racing will continue until 7 p.m.

The Ponsonby Model Yacht Club will make a start after the holiday break this week-end, when the contents for the \ ictoria and Winter Cups will be continued and two new trophies competed for. I here will be three races for the 3-foot class and two for the 4-footers. A race for n special prize by Mr. U. Xovthcroft, patron of the club, will also be held. The Point Chevalier Sailing Club will hold their annual contest for the Dixieland Cup dininpt this week-end. The race, will start at 2.30 .p.m.,; and entries will be received a.t the clubhouse. till -2 p.m.
