UPTON CUP.

The annual contest in the 22-foot class for the handsome trophy presented to the Ponsonby Cruising Club by the late Sir Thomas Lipton will take place on Saturday week. The clubs and their nominees are: —Ponsonby Club, Komuri; Victoria Club, Valeria; Devonport Club, Huia; Akarana Club, Ngaru II.; Richmond Club, Mowai; Manukau Yacht Club, Rakoa; Takapuna Club, Otira; Point Chevauer Club, Varuna; Tamaki Club, Marie. In addition the Ponsonby Club will hold the race for the Hewson Memorial for tlie Z class.
