APPEAL LODGED.
CLAIM AGAINST BANK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. Messrs. Bell, Gully, Mackenzie and O'Leary, solicitor for Mr. W. D. Lj-enar, have lodged in the Supreme Court at Gisborne notice of appeal with respect to Mr. Lysnar's action against the National Bank, portion of which was heard in Wellington recently, when judgment for part of the action was given by Mr. Justice MacGregor to the defendant bank. The balance of the action is to be tried in Gisborne later, and an appeal will be heard during the March sitting of the Court of Appeal.
