FOUND DEAD.
FATAL SHOOTING TRIP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CARTERTON, this day. A middle-aged man, named Walter Jamieson, an employee on one of the coastal boats at Wellington, who was spending a holiday with his sister, Mrs. Johnson, of Featlierston, was found dead last night. Deceased went rabbiting in the afternoon, but failed to return. A search party found the body lying lees half a mile from the house, with a discharged gun alongside. From indications deceased had accidentally shot himself when ge ting through a fence.
