England (in Australia) 1028-29: 18, 1 (then dropped for the second Test!), 79, 112, 40, 58, 123, 37 not out. 1932-33: 0 and 103 not out. Total, 571; average, 71. For Australia v. England (in Old Country, 1930): S, 131, 254, 1, 334 (world record Test score, beating the late R. E. Foster's 287 for England at Sydney, 1903-4), 14, 232. Total, 974; average, 139. For Australia v. West Indies (in Austra, 1930-31): 4, 25, 223, 152, 43, 0. Total, 447; average, 75. For Australia v. Africa (in Australia, 1931-32): 226, 112, 2, 167, 299 not out. Total, 806; average, 201. Summary: Innings, 28; not out, 3; i-una, 2798; average, 112. Of thirteen Test centuries, scored in four years, one was a "treble" and five others were "doubles" (including his 299 not out, when he ran out Kippax and. the last man!). Sutcliffe .has made eight and Bradman seven centuries in the England-Australia .-■cries. Sutcliffe made his first Test hundred in 1924-5 at Melbourne, when he topped the century in both innings of his initial Test.
