Vines (U.S.A.) beat E. F. Moon (Australia), 2—6, o—3, (5—3; beat H. O. Hopman, 6—2, 4—6, 6—2. DOUBLES. J. B. Crawford and H. Or Hopman (Australia) bent H E. Vines and K. Gledhill (U.S.A.), 3—o, o—3, 7—5, 3—o, o—3. W. Allison and J. Van R.vn (U.S.A.) beat E. F. Moon and A. Quist (Australia), 6—l, 6—l, 10—8. The Americans are leading by six rubbers to two. Australia requires to win all four rubbers, on Tuesday to square the match.
