FASHIONS ON LAWN.

LAST DAY'S RACING. Although there was not such a large attendance at Ellcrslie to-day as yesterday, there were still a large number of charming models 6cen. The paler shades of blue seemed to be preferred to-day and they were to be seen in light summer fabrics that showed small patterns and in the plain crepe de chines of simple tailored suits. Pastel shades of green were also favoured, and the inevitable white straw hats again made their appearance.
