Fire Brigades Save Palace of
Belgian King.
BLAZE IN BRUSSELS. (Received 10 a.m.) • BRUSSELS, December 21. Three fire brigades took an hour to subdue a fire in King Albert's magnificent Palace. They fought desperately to prevent the flames spreading to the salon where there are countlcss historic treasures. The city's entire police was sent to control thousands of onlookers. The fire destroyed oak beams, the dome .'and supporting girders. ,
