The executive of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association received a lettei last evening from the Takapuna Boating Club suggesting that, an the interests ol the Cornwell Cup contest, tlier OtaM. A»£ ciation should reconsider its attitude ay ibii regard to the late entry ot Manukau ■ foi the contest. After a good deal of discussion it was decided that, m view of the explanation which had been, made, that the lateness of the entry was entirely due to an error,, the entry should be accepted and the boat allowed to compete in the contest.
