VEHICULAR FERRY CHARGES.

At the meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board yesterday afternoon a further letter was received from, the Devonport Ferry Company asking that the board should increase the concession offered, to assist the company to reduce charges, on vehicles carried by the company. The board decided to offer the company 10 per cent commission, instead of 5 per cent, on toll charges collected, but that no further concessions could be made.
