CALL FROM MT. EDEN.

NEW PRESBYTERIAN MINISTER A call from the congregation of Mount Eden Presbyterian Church to the Eev. E. J. Tipler, 8.A., of Eoslyn, Dunedin, was sustained at a special meeting of the Auckland Presbytery yesterday. The call was supported by three members of the Mount Eden congregation. The majority of the congregation had not heard Mr. Tipler preach, but the call had been enthusiastically and unanimously made. The Eev. W. Bower Black, interim moderator of the vacant charge, said that the call had been signed by over 250 out of 300 members, and by 661 adherents.

The call will be transmitted to the Dunedin Presbytery, where it will be supported by the Eevs. D. C. Herron and S. C Francis.
