Near Oakleigh, the car in which these members were travelling collided with another which was approaching from Whangarei. Mr. Trevor Gibson-, driver of the car, anil the girl musicians were tshaken, but not seriously hurt.

After" medical attention, they were able to proceed to their houses and billets. Both cars were considerably damaged.
