BAIN IN CANTERBURY
CROPS HAVE HAD SUFFICIENT,

CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
Heavy rain has fallen over Canterbury for three daye. Some of the rivers are fairly high, but no damage is reported anywhere, though a further fall would affect crops, which were showing the beneficial effects of the earlier showers.
