HOBSONVILLE-BIRKDALE I,I^K BEACH HAVEN RESIDENTS' SUPPORT. The proposal advanced by the Upper Wai tenia ta Harbour Development Association for a traffic connection between Birkdale and Hobsonville was explained at a well-attended meeting held in the Blaneliard Hall. Beach Haven, last evening. Mr. P. Dennen presided. The meeting, which was convened by the Birkdale Ratepayers and Residents' Association, was addrescd by Mr. E. C. Walton, the president, and Mr. S. Dean, the secretary of the Upper Waitemata Harbour Development Association. A resolution approving the project and pledging all support possible was carried, and the association was requested to convene further meetings in order to give the opportunity to other centres to become conversant with the aim ancl to take steps to further the objective.
