IN THE NEW ZEALAND CUP.
Pahu registered an attractive performance in the Rona Hurdles at Trentham yesterday. He was last till the straight, but then put in a great run, getting up to win in the last few strides. He has a great record in hurdle events at Trentham, having.won three times and been placed second once in his four starts. This was hia first effort over the battens since he fell in the Grand National Hurde Race at Ru'Cnrton last August. Palm will now go back to flat racing, and is included among those who are to contest the New Zealand Cup.
