UNLIMITED HOURS.
CHEESE AND BUTTER FACTORIES. EMPLOYERS SEEK NEW AWARD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, this day. The Wellington Cheese and Butter Factories Employees' Union lias received proposals from the employers for a new agreement. An all-round reduction in wages is suggested, also dispensing with the status of second, third and fourth assistants. Drastic alterations to the award are proposed, including unlimited hours. Cheese factory employees have unanimously decided to reject the proposals.
