PLENTY OF ROOM.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Reporting to last evening's meeting of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce on the first conference of Northern chambers, recently held in Dargaville, Mr. J. Parkin said it had been mentioned that north of Helensville the population was one person, to every 650 acres. "That is a matter which should interest business people," he. maid. "We want more people on tha land than at th» present time.'*
