NORMAL SCHOOL.
PARENTS' ASSOCIATION.
A largo number of members of the Normal School Parents' Association attended the fourth annual meeting held last evening. The chairman, Mr. D. F. Mackay, presided. The annual report, as published, was adopted. The question of finding employment for pupils leaving the Normal School was introduced by Mr. A. J. Stallworthy, M.P. for Eden, and the matter was referred to the incoming committee. Oflicers were elected as follow:—Patron, Mr. Stallworthy; vice-patron, Mr. T. MeNab, Mayor of Mount Eden; president, Mr. A. Burns, chairman of the Auckland Education Board; vice-presidents, Mr. D. M. Rae, principal of the Auckland Training College, and Mr. H. G. Cousins, former principal; chairman, Mr. D. F. Mackay; committee, Mcsdames Bannatyne, Davidson, Knox and Turner, and Messrs. J. L. Aikman, M. van Staveren, R. Isaacs, C. C. Forgie, J. England, H. T. King and J. Dornan; hon. secretary, Mr. A. P. Dow; hon. treasurer, Mr. F. C. Lopdell; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Graham.
