CAUSES LEAGUE SPLIT. INSULTING TO LADY SUPPORTERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day.™ Christian Brothers, the loading Rugby; League team, object to a player in uu opposing team playing against them, alleging that he used insulting language to two of their lady supporters on a recent Saturday. It is understood that the Brothers will not take the field to-mor-row, and some of their players have already secured reinstatement papers with a view to applying for reinstatement in the Rugby code. Should the Brothers withdraw the League will be ill a sorry plight here, with only three teams left..
