MATTER OF YEAR-OLD REPORT

One year ago the safety of the gallery of the* main hall at-the Mount Albert Grammar School was the subject of a report by the board's architect, Mr. W. A. dimming. That repc/.t was sent to the Education Departin/nt at Wellington, but the board lias heard nothing of any reply. It was stated at a meeting of the Grammar Schools Board that the Public Works Department had prohibited the use of the gallery, and had proclaimed it dangerous. The, boar<l decided to ask the Department to reply to tho report of its architect, which was a year old.
