TO-NIGHT'S CHANGES.
New programmes will be eecn at only two city theatres this evening. These two are the St. James', where the iilm version of Noel Coward's play, "Private Lives," starring Norma Shearer and Kobert Montgomery, will be screened, and the National, where Beße Daniels' "Honour of. the Family" is on the billhead. The Majestic, Regent and Strand changed last evening and the Roxy on Wednesday. Both the Plaza and the Civic will "continue to screen last week's picture for extended seasons. COMMUNITY SINGING. Community singing will be held under the auspices'of the Auckland Committee in the Lewis Eady Hall thie evening at 7.30. The song leader will be Mr. Vernon T. Drew. NEW LYNN CONCERT. The Mavis Ward Revue Company gave a concert in St. Andrew's Hall last Thursday evening, which the public attended' in large numbers. The long and well-arranged programme included all varieties of items and radio selections from all over the world. The artists were lustily cheered by the audience at the close of the concert.
