PROMOTION AND TRANSFER. AUCKLAND PROVINCE CHANGES. (By- Telegraph.—Press Association./ WELLINGTON, this day. The Commissioner of Police announces the following promotions and transfers in the force:—lnspector J. Cummings, transferred from Dunedin to Wellington, where he will be attached to the Commissioner's office; Senior-Sergeant Edwards, Wellington, promoted subinspector, and' transferred to Christ-church;'Senior-Sergeant Donald Cameron,. Dunedin, promoted sub-inspector, remains at Dunedin; Sergeant Caldwell, Waihi, promoted to senior-sergeant, transferred' to Wellington; Senior-Ser-geant Martin, Ashburton, transferred to Dunedin; Sergeant W. Kelly, Christchurch, transferred to Ashburton: Sergeant Sivyer, Taumarunui, transferred to Wellington South, relieving Sergeant Hogan, retiring on superannuation; Sergeant Felton, Newton station, Auckland, transferred to Taumarunui; Constable Moore, Kaitangata, promoted sergeant, ' transferred to Cliristcliurch; Constable Black, Nelson, promoted Sergeant, transferred to Auckland.
