As a sequel to his auclienoe with the President, Marshal Hindenburg, HenHitler, leader of the Nazis, visited General von Schleicher, of the Ministry of Defence, who persuaded him to modify his views. Herr Hitler promised not to try to establish a Fascist militia or interfere in army matters.

PARIS, October 28. The record for blood transfusion is held by Raymond Briez, a Paris undertaker, who, since he first offered himself eight years ago, has been tapped 452 times, involving parting with 27 gallons of blood!
