Mackinnon;, 11.0 —D.vnon 2 BESTMAX, b li, aged, by Green Seal— Wedding Cake (Mr. T. Kelly), 0.2— Howson . 3 Fourteen started, ' including Mosstrooper, who fell on approaching the home turn. Itakwool's victory was achieved in the easiest fashion. He out,lumped, outstayed, and outpaced his rivals from the start. Ke took the lead shortly after the start, and at one stage was 40 lengths ahead of the others. The result was never in doubt. Rakwool won by 20 lengths, with a length and a half between escond and third. Welcome Stranger was fourth, then George William and Ancient Mariner. Time, 6.35. DOUTTA GALLA HURDLES. Two miles and a half. OCEAN BOUND, 10.4—Dynon 1 GADRAY, 9.2—80tt 2 POLYGONUM, 9.l3—Fullarton 3 Seven started. Won by two lengths aud a half. Time, 4.45.

Carlingt'ord Handicap oC loOsovs and sweepstake, seven furlongs.—Merryland (Reynolds) .1, Mr. Kerry 2, King Crow 3. Mr. Kerry finished first, but was placed sccond as the result of a protest by Merryland's owner.
