MEMO. TO POLITICAL LEADERS "NEED FOR UNITY IMPERATIVE." (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. " Further representations were made to-day to impress upon Mr. Forbes and Mr. Coates the urgent need of forming a strong National Government. A memorandum presented to the leaders states: "This movement was started, early in April, and to-day the need for unity is even more imperative than it 'wds then. We, the undersigned, desire publicly to associate ourselves with the resolutions published on June 4. We heartily endorse their appeal to everyone to forget party and consider I earnestly how the welfare of the Dominion might best be secured and maintained." Then follow the signatures of 97 prominent business and professional men : of Wellington. . J
