It Is not generally realised that the countries in tlie Southern Hemisphere import softwood timber, pulp and paper from Canada, Sweden, and countries in the Northern Hemisphere to the value or over £30,000,000 per annum. These supplies, however, are rapidly ''windliny. and with a consequently increasing demand ihe plantations owned by the bond holders of New Zealand Perpetual Forests. Ltd.. will naturally increase in value, and should prove a" considerable ' source of revenue both to bond holders and to the Dominion in the very near future. — (Ad.) ,
