LOAN AND MERCANTILE. DIVIDENDS DEFERRED. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, May 20. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency has deferred consideration of further dividend on preference and ordinary stocks until the final results of the year are ascertained. TOOTH'S BREWERIES. LOWER INTERIM DIVIDEND. Tooth's Breweries, Sydney, has announced by cablegram to the Affiliated Stock Exchanges of New Zealand the payment of an interim dividend at the rate of 8 per cent per annum. Last year the company paid an interim dividend at the rate of 12% per cent per annum, and a final dividend of 5 per cent, making 11*4 per cent for the year.
