Logan was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. HER FIRST APPEARANCE. "This woman has been under observation for some months and she has been associating with some of the worst characters in the city, also frequenting hotels and drinking," said DetectiveSergeant Kelly, about Ethel Briggs, aged 49. Briggs, for whom Mr. K. Aekins appeared, pleaded guilty to a charge of being an idle and disorderly person who habitually consorted with undesirables.
