CAROL'S COUP.

Parliament Suddenly Dissolved In Rumania. ELECTION IN JUNE. BUCHAREST, May 1. King Carol by a dramatic coup dissolved Parliament at its first meeting after the formation of the new Cabinet. Professor Jorga, the Prime Minister, arrived in the chamber and read the decree. There were immediately signs of hostility. He declared that the step was necessary, because a majority in Parliament was opposed to the Government's policy, which included constitutional reforms and the restoration of the King's prerogative with respect to many lapsed powers. Other* measures would be introduced by Royal decree, pending an election in June. Cries of "Long live Spain!" were countered by cries of "Long live the King!" in the streets in the evening.
