LORD JOICEY LEAVES LIBERALS
LONDON, May 1. Lord Joicey, who has been a Liberal all his life, has now joined the Conservative party. Lord Joicey, the first baron, who as Sir James Joicey was Liberal member for Chester-le-Street, Durham, from 1885 to
1906, was born in 1846. He is chairman and managing director of two of the largest colliery companies in England. :
