OAR CONVERSION CHARGE.

PROBATION FOR MORRISON

Convicted yesterday on a charge of converting a motor ear to his own u«e, Ronald Laurence Morrison, a mechanic, aged -7, appeared for sentence at the Police Court this morning. Morrison was associated with another nii-u, Aubrey Krlle.it Baird, who yesterday was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. said lie had received a report from the probation oilier concerning Morrison. As his character had been good in the past, he did not propose to start iiim o.T by sending iiim to prison. Morrison would be placed on probation for 12 months and ordered to make restitution of £13.
