Arrival of Princes at Rio de

Janeiro.

(British Official Wireless.) (Received 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, March 23. The Prince of Wales and Prince George reached Santos, Brazil, on Monday by the liner Alcantara. They were met by officials and a huge enthusiastic crowd, including practically all the members of the British colony. The Royal brothers rrrived at Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday morning. While the forts and warships fired a salute, the British Ambassador, Sir William Seeds, and M. Maurizio Nabuco, of the Foreign Office, representing the Brazilian Government, boarded the Alcantara and greeted the Princes. The streets along the route to 'the Guanabara Palace were lined with soldiers and thronged by crowds. By decree of the Government a half holiday was proclaimed to celebrate the occasion.
