TO SAVE THE FARMER.
BRISBANE, January 16.
The Queensland Government has decided to acquire all the flour in the State, the object being to save the wheatgrowers from ruin.
Although this action is likely to cause flour and bread to rise in price, the Premier, Mr. A. E. Moore, says it is justified in the circumstances.
