AUCKLAND CLUB'S EVENTS. Tliß Auckland Cycle Club continued its weekly races at the Western Springs Stadium last night with a three miles handicap. There were 11 starters. Following was the result: —L. G. Pinfold, 70yds, 1; K. J. Mathicson, 100 yds. 2; W. Archer, 160 yds, 3: K. Green. 170 yds. i. Time, 6.51. The field bunched after four laps and remained together until two laps to , go.. In this lap, going down the back stretch, Pinfold "jumped" the field and eomnienclnjr the last lap he had a goodlead. Mathieson sprinted to catch him, btit failed. Pinfold won by four length?. with' a length and a half, between second ar.u third.
LADIES' AMATEUR CLUB
Cfhe kilometre race, instead of which time trial wns run last Wednesday on account of*the wet track, will bo held to-morrow under the control of the Auckland Ladies' Amateur Cycle Club.
