PROTEST AGADTST STOPPAGE. DEPUTATION TO ME. KANSOM. (From Our Owe Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, this day. The Mayor (Mr. F. A. Jones), the county chairman (Mr. V. Trounson), the president of the Chamber of Commerce (Mr. H. Tonkin), and Mr. W. Flower (representive of the workers on the Dargaville branch railway) left last night for Wellington, where, in company with the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, they will interview the acting-Prime Minister in regard to the stopping of work on the Dargaville branch railway. The workers at Tangowahine subscribed £20 towards their delegate's expenses.
