ALAN MCDONALD'S INJURIES.
The hurdle rider Alan McDor.aid received extensive injuries when liis mount, Ho Whanga, stumbled at Foxton, but he is reported to be making satisfactory progress, and it is hoped ,\vill be well enough to be moved to his home in the immediate future. McDonald lias several ribs broken, while an damaged. .He is also suffering- from concussion and shock.
