CYCLING.

AUCKLAND CYCLE CLUB

Last night at Western Springs Stadium the Auckland Cycle Club held a two miles handicap race. Results were:—G. Hall, 160 yds, 1; K. J. Mathieson, 80yds, 2; L. G. Pinfold, 00yds, 3; W. Mathieson, 80yds. 4. Time, 4.5 1-5. Half a lap from the line the front and back-markers bunched. This enabled Hall to shoot to the front, where he stayed to, win finally by two lengths from Mathieson, with Pinfold a length away. An unsuccessful attempt on the one kilometre unpaced record was made by L. G. Pinfold in 1.20 1-a.
