JUDGE'S TOUR ENDS.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Mr. Justice MacGregor arrived back in Wellington by the Maunganui to-day after a tour abroad, which extended over 11 months. He was accompanied on the trip Home by Mrs. MacGregor and Miss C. G. MacGregor, who will remain in England for another year. During the course his tour, his Honor visited England, Scotland and the Continent. "Wβ travelled in Scotland, which I left as a youth some 48 years before, and I 'naturally found enormous changes," said the Judge. "There was an improvement in the cocdition of the poorer classes and an absence of drunkenness. I saw no drunken men in Scotland or in England during the whole of my stay."
