YOUNG IEAX GAOLED,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Oliver William Alexander Russell (20) who appeared before J.P. s this morning, pleaded guilty to the conversion of a car, and a bicycle to hfe own use. and to the theft of a travelling rug and of a bathing costume. He was .sentenced to a month's imprisonment on the first cha/ge, fourteen days on the econd and to seven days on each of the theft charges.. The sentences are to be C °rS^ S further charged with breaking and entering the house, of JL Te Wharo and stealing a suit of clothes On the application of the , police accused was remanded for a week.
