TRAVEL AGENT VISITS DOMINION.
With the intention of familiarising herself with the tourist attractions of New Zealand so that she may better advise intending travellers in London, Miss E. McD. Amess, who arrived at Lyttelton by the Corinthie, is spending some months in an extensive tour of the Dominion. Miss Amess, who is head of a travel service department for Pickford's Travel Agency in London, is herself a New Zealander. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, having recently taken over Pickford's agency for New Zealand, Miss Amess will visit branches of the firm throughout' New Zealand assisting in organisation. The comfort of New Zealanders visiting London is largely in the hands of Miss Amess as director of the department for personal travel service. It will also be her endeavour to develop tourist traffic to New Zealand. In the course of her travels Miss Amess will endeavour to gain that knowledge which will enable her to give sound advice to her clients in London. She will visit Mount Cook, Lake Wakatipu, Chateau Tongariro and Rotorua.
