CAR DRIVER KILLED.
SON OF 'MR. R. SEMPLE, M.P. CAPSIZE NEAR TAWA PLAT. SECOND MAN UNINJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON", this'day, As the result of injuries sustained in a motoring , accident last night, the dcnlli occurred in the Wellington Hospital of .Robert Semple, eldest son of Mr. K. Seniplc, Labour M.P. for Wellington East. A small sports cur, which Mr. Semple was driving, capsized on a bridge near the Glenside store, between Johnsonville and Tuwn Flat, shortly after 11.30 p.m. A second man. Stanley Holmes, was also in the car, which was going , away from Wellington when the mishap occurred. The car \yas badly damaged, and the seat had to be taken out before the driver could lie extricated He was attended to by Dr. Aitkcn and removed to the hospital by the Free Ambulance. Mr, Holmes was not injured. Mr. Seniple, who was married, and had one chilil, arrived front Gisboriie on Saturday last to take up work as a driver on the Titahi bus service.
