STILL NO RAIN.
COLERIDGE POWER PROBLEM NORTH-WEST CONDITIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Again to-day, despite lior'-west conditions, the. Public Works engineers report no rain at Lake Coleridge, where the water level is 1058 ft instead of lG72ft, the normal height. However, the flow of the Harper River into the lake has almost doubled since yesterday, being 400 eusces, against 200. This is due to a thaw in the back country. Restrictions on the use of power still continue, and there is no immediate prospect of removal.
