| MAORI YOUTH'S DEATH IN PA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) - OPOTIKI, Friday. . The inquest into the death of Rangirea Kohiti, aged IT, which was opened at the Waiotahi pa on September 23, before Mr. F. J. Short, district coroner, was finished in Opotiki to-day. The youth became ill on September 17, and no nurse or .doctor attended liim, [ although an unsuccessful attempt was made to get in touch with the district nurse. Dr. Budd said that from the symptoms described to him he concluded that the youth died of influenzal pneumonia. The coroner gave a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence.
