MR. CHARLES SUTTON.

A well-known farmer on Waihi Plains, Mr. Charles Sutton, lias died. At one time he was farming in the Marlborough district, and later at Kiliikihi and Manawaru, finally taking up land at Wailii Plains about 10 years ago. Mr. Sutton was once the largest land holder on the Waihi Plains, and did much to prove that it was good dairying land. The following children survive:—Messrs. Herbert, Percy, and Russell Sutton, of Waihi Plains; Robert Sutton, of Manawaru, and Miss Sutton, of Waihi.
