BRIDGE FOR ONGAROTO.
The Taupo Totava Timber Company, Ltd., lias let a contract to Wilcox and Company, Ltd., of Auckland for the construction of a bridge over tlie Waikato at Ongaroto, near Atiamuri. It will be used by the company's timber railway, which runs from Putaruru, on the Rotorua railway line, to the sawmill at Mokai, a distance of 50 miles. The new bridge, which is to be built of steel on concrete foundations will be 2?9ft long.
