DICKENS FELLOWSHIP.
At tlie fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Dickene Fellowship last evening the doctors described by the great writer were discussed. Dr. Kenneth - Goi;don, who presided, pointed out that the tamily physician was. the type that Dickens elaborated. During the evening reathngs were given as follows:—Dr. Parker Peps (Dombey and Son), Mr. F. S. T. Little; Dr Jolm Jobling (Martin Cliuzzlewit), Mr W E. Ar-ey; Mr. Chillip (David Copperfield), Mr. C Kidson; Mr. Allan Woodcourt (Bleak House), Mrs. Kenneth Gordon; Dr. Manette (Tale of TVo Cities), Mr Marks; "Physician" (Little Dorrit), Miss Statham; The programme concluded with a diverting sketch, from the PckwicK papers of Bob Sawyer, arranged .by Mr. T.
