NEW TENNIS CLUB.
GRAFTON ROAD COURTS. The tennis lawns on the property of the Auckland Bowling Club are to be used by the newly-formed Grafton Tennis Club. The lawns have been used solely for tennis for many years past and are in "excellent condition, having been specially prepared dining the winter for the coming season. The bowling club's experienced staff will'con-, tinue to maintain the courts, but the tennis club will be self-governing, will elect its own officers and make its own arrangements for play. The honorary secretary (pro tem) is Mr. S. Coldicutt. Application forms for membership are obtainable from Mr. G. J. Mackay, florist, Queen Street. Already a gratifying response has been received tnd it is evident that the new club wil} represent an Important addition to local tennis institutions.
